I can’t say enough good things about Honest to Pete! If you’re serious about great coffee, this place is a must-visit in Vancouver. The beans are air roasted, and you can really taste the difference, everything is fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. I’m always searching for good decaf, and honestly, this is the best decaf I’ve ever had. It’s rich and smooth, with none of that typical bitterness or flatness you sometimes get with decaf. Even if you usually drink regular coffee, you have to try their decaf, trust me. Of course, their regular beans are equally outstanding,absolutely delicious, whether you’re making a pour-over at home or grabbing a cup in the shop. You can tell they care about quality in every cup. Highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates excellent coffee. Honest to Pete is a real gem!

We hired a private chef from Honest to Goodness for our 10 person celebratory meal after our elopement, and I’m so glad we did! Ruben was our chef, and he was extremely professional and easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted for our meal, and offered multiple ideas. I seriously applaud him for coming into a random Airbnb and being able to put forth such an amazing meal with a bare bones kitchen. All of the food was so delicious, from our appetizers to our desserts! Our family was really blown away!! I cannot recommend working with Honest to Goodness and Chef Ruben enough!!

I hired Laura to prepare meals for a knitting retreat near Mount Rainier. She easily created a menu that took into account a variety of dietary restrictions -- no small feat! She and Chef Athena came early on Monday to prepare all the meals and snacks through breakfast Thursday. They helped us with the service for dinner Monday and then left clearly labeled trays with instructions for any of the dishes that needed to be reheated. The food was all incredibly delicious! I especially loved the lemon lavender cake and the Chicken Marbella with olives and prunes. I would not hesitate to hire Honest To Goodness for a future event and wished I lived in Seattle and could take advantage of their regular services.

Excellent communication!!! Honest to Goodness arranged for Sara to come to my son's home between Christmas and New Year to do a cooking class with us. Sara brought the food and most all the items needed to cook. She and I met beforehand to ascertain our needs for the meal. Sara was personable and fun and answered our many questions and gave us tips for cooking. She also gave great kitchen tool recommendations. She tailored the meal to our requests with many vegetable dishes and ideas. It was such a fun time and we loved hearing about Sara's many experiences and appreciated her passion for inspiring others with food.

Chef Sara did a cooking class at my house for my daughter’s birthday party. She was hands-on and patient with a dozen 8th grade girls and made the event easy for me as she planned, shopped, set up and cleaned for the event. She gave us cooking tips and was great with which to work. If your daughter is interested in culinary arts and is looking to do an event with friends, I highly recommend!

I've hired Honest to Goodness for two company events, and they've knocked it out of the park each time! They're professional, efficient, and an overall pleasure to work with. On both occasions, the chefs have gone above and beyond to provide excellent service and ensure an ideal dining experience from beginning to end. Besides the incredible dishes, they've also assisted with furniture rental and decor for the events, with stunning results. Can't say enough good things about this business... VERY highly recommended!!!

Hiring an Honest to Goodness Personal Chef for our event was the best decision we made. The entire evening was perfect and the food was delicious. Rachel was our chef and she was fantastic! She created a menu that was perfect for our event and every single thing she made was amazing. Can't say enough about how much fun this was and the service was top notch. The price is also very reasonable. We cannot wait to do it again!

Chef Laura catered our small, family- style wedding brunch at a private residence. From start to finish the process was easy and efficient. The menu selection/communication beforehand was great and I made last minute changes to plans that were easily accommodated. Setup and cleanup were fully taken care of and it was a seamless process that made my wife and I’s wedding that much better. Finally, the food was incredible and there were plenty of leftovers. I’d recommend Honest to Goodness and Chef Laura to anyone.

We’ve been so pleased with Chef Janelle and Honest to Goodness over the last month. We’ve now had twelve meals prepared in our home, just to our liking! We’ve been enjoying trying dishes we’ve never had along with thoughtful spins on classics. We feel such relief with the attention to working around our food allergies, which prevent us from eating out and ordering in. Both Janelle and Sahara are easy to communicate with and very open to feedback to ensure we are satisfied with the weekly menu proposal ahead of grocery shopping. A wonderful investment, especially for busy families! Meals reheat very well and address our focus on protein and fiber. Thank you all so much!!
